Top Bar

The top floor of Kytelers Inn now houses a large and atmospheric space called The Top Bar. Reminiscent of a Baronial Hall it can be configured to suit a wide range of events including wedding receptions, family and office parties, product launches, corporate receptions, meetings, music and literary performances- and it has even become a theatre during Kilkenny Arts Week. The Top Bar has many quirky features including a Church Pulpit which has a new life as a DJs box, period artworks and split level seating.

At weekends it becomes a Late Bar with music and the hub of the Kilkenny social scene.

Kytelers Inn Kilkenny offers ‘ A Venue with a Difference’ for meetings, product launches, media receptions, training days and other corporate events.

The Baronial-style Top Bar is a flexible space which can accommodate 180 diners or 360 reception guests. It has successfully hosted a wide array of events from music and poetry recitals to theatre and its Mediaeval decor is attractive to photographers and other media.

The Top Bar can be configured to match the needs of clients and it has its own entrance for guests attending private functions. Split level dining areas, a stage for musicians or presenters and a Church Pulpit incorporating a DJ box are just some of its many features.

A range of options from multi-course meals for seated diners to finger food is available and can be tailored to meet individual needs.
